Hope all of you are keeping well now that the cold and  flu season is coming to an end we can concentrate  on our sailing adventures – What do you think about renaming the Strait of Georgia to the Salish Sea – that should create some jobs updating charts  !!!

The yellow buoy marked "Navy" in position 49 17.54N

124 05.68W (NAD83) reported submerged.

P-0389 WEST COAST VANCOUVER ISLAND

Cable ship "Ile De Sein" advises having exposed cable

on the seabed in the following positions:

A line along lat: 48 21N between 126 10W and 126 05W and

a line along lat: 48 30N between 126 10W and 125 45W.

( chart datum unknown)

Ile De Sein requests fishing vessels remain clear of this

exposed cable and exercise caution when net fishing in the

general area.
